Group Camping Info & FAQ
Group Camping Pass
NEW FOR 2026!
Group camping is a form of car camping that allows groups of friends to secure a large camping space together without needing to arrive at the same time.
Group camping tickets are purchased PER PERSON.
A large camping plot will be reserved for the group, based on the number of people who have purchased a pass and registered for the group through the Symmetry Group Camping portal.
How it works:
- To start a group camp, a designated Group Leader must purchase a Group Camp Leader Pass.
- Once purchased, the Group Leader must register their Symmetry Festival portal account using the same email address used to purchase the Group Camp Leader Pass.
- Once registered, the Group Leader can create a group page through the Symmetry Group Camping portal and use the generated link to invite others to purchase a Group Camping Pass and join the group.
- The group's camping plot space is allocated based on the number of people who have purchased a Group Camping Pass under their unique group link
- Each group will be provided with one (1) car camping pass for every three (3) people who have registered for the group, rounded down. (i.e. 20 people = 6 car passes, 21 people = 7 car passes)
- Every group must reach at least twelve (12) people who have purchased group camping passes under the group code in order to lock in their group.
- Any group that fails to reach at least 12 people by the end of the registration period will result in the group being cancelled. All non-leader members will be refunded.
- The leader pass is non-refundable, and it is recommended leaders only purchase passes if they are confident they will be able to reach at least 12 people.
Can I purchase extra group camping passes for more space?
Yes, if you want extra space, or need more car passes than 1 per 3 people, you can purchase extra group camping passes. Space is alloted based on the number of people who have purchased a pass and registered for the group through the Symmetry Group Camping portal.
Can someone without a group camping pass join my group?
Yes, just keep in mind that space is allocated based on the number of people who have registered for the group. Any extra cars or people will cut into the space that the other members of the group have paid for.
